Moving to production batches
Follow the approved sample with a pilot batch and monitor dimensional variation and defects. Standardise mixing, curing, release and inspection. Assess wear, cleaning and packing bottlenecks before increasing capacity, and validate process changes with another controlled batch.
Product-specific checks
Thin strokes, enclosed counters and small serifs complicate filling and release. Check lettering orientation on both the master and the finished part. Complete filling and legibility at the thinnest stroke can matter more than overall letter height.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
