Record voids, breakage, dimensional errors and surface defects separately. Adjust filling direction, corner transitions or release around the most frequent defect. Compare pilot batches under consistent conditions; changing many factors together obscures which change improved the result.
Product-specific checks
Wide flat castings need attention to warping, base flatness and rim stiffness. Support the mould on a level surface and check the finished part on a flat reference. Decorative tray production does not establish food-contact suitability; verify material and coating documentation separately.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
