How is it made?
Define finished dimensions and casting material before preparing the master. Plan a sealed mould box, release direction and any required parting line. Use the mould material's technical sheet for mixing and curing values, then approve a trial casting before starting a production batch.
Product-specific checks
Wide flat castings need attention to warping, base flatness and rim stiffness. Support the mould on a level surface and check the finished part on a flat reference. Decorative tray production does not establish food-contact suitability; verify material and coating documentation separately.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
