Higher-volume production
Cycle time and workstation balance matter as much as mould count. Do not exceed material limits to shorten curing. Plan parallel moulds, spare capacity, batch traceability and maintenance downtime, and measure capacity by accepted parts rather than total castings.
Product-specific checks
Design the inner core, drainage opening and base thickness together. A thin rim can break during demoulding; inspect rim integrity, upright stability and drainage on the first casting. Follow the concrete supplier's mixing and curing instructions.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
