What is it used for?
A mould transfers a master shape's surface and dimensions into a casting material. The master, mould and cast product are different deliverables. Confirm which is supplied; having a mould does not establish compatibility with every material or operating condition.
Product-specific checks
Check resin compatibility, permitted pour depth and heat generated during curing. Not every resin suits deep pours. Run a small compatibility trial and follow the product's technical and safety documents for mixing, ventilation and personal protection.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
