Include material, labour, energy, packaging and scrap in unit cost, allocating mould investment across expected accepted output. Consider platform fees, tax and shipping separately. Model several sales volumes; subtracting raw material alone from selling price overstates profit.
Product-specific checks
Compare internal compartment dimensions with the actual objects to be stored. Narrow deep pockets can trap air, while thin partitions can be stressed during release. Check access to each pocket, the bottom finish and partition strength on the sample.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
