Developing a branded product
Agree branding position, legibility and its effect on use during design. Test small embossed features at actual size instead of relying on screen previews. Verify permission to use the artwork and its approved version, and keep product and packaging information consistent.
Product-specific checks
Compare internal compartment dimensions with the actual objects to be stored. Narrow deep pockets can trap air, while thin partitions can be stressed during release. Check access to each pocket, the bottom finish and partition strength on the sample.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
