Getting started
Start with an open, easily released shape and a small trial quantity. Change one variable at a time and record the result. Do not guess mixing ratios; prepare suitable weighing equipment, workspace and the protective measures specified in the product documents before casting.
Product-specific checks
Size ring slots, hanging projections and contact edges around the intended jewellery. Thin hooks can create undercuts and fragile sections. Test the sample for sharp flash, tipping and everyday access before approving the design.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
