Easier demoulding
Review release direction, surface roughness and undercuts during design. Removing a part before it develops adequate strength can break edges. If a compatible release agent is needed, test surface finish and later coating adhesion on a sample before adopting it.
Product-specific checks
Size ring slots, hanging projections and contact edges around the intended jewellery. Thin hooks can create undercuts and fragile sections. Test the sample for sharp flash, tipping and everyday access before approving the design.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
