Choose pigment compatible with the binder and record its proportion by weight. Excess pigment can affect curing and strength; respect supplier limits. Assess colour on a fully cured sample rather than the wet mixture, comparing batches under consistent lighting.
Product-specific checks
Check intersecting corners, symmetry and reference dimensions together. Sharp corners can trap air, and undercut faces may prevent one-piece release. Inspect opposing face angles and alignment on the approval sample as well as its silhouette.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
