Delivery and project planning
Separate drawing approval, master production, mould making, sample review and shipping in the schedule. Allow for material supply and revisions. Transit time is not production time; clarify approval delays and delivery scope when agreeing a target date.
Product-specific checks
Check intersecting corners, symmetry and reference dimensions together. Sharp corners can trap air, and undercut faces may prevent one-piece release. Inspect opposing face angles and alignment on the approval sample as well as its silhouette.
Application and sample checks
Define finished dimensions, casting material and critical surfaces first. Record production variables and reassess approval whenever the material or master changes; an earlier sample does not automatically validate a revised process.
